About the editor
This site is edited by Harriet Cole, a UK-based editor covering odd history and historical mysteries for British readers. "Harriet Cole" is a pen name. We think it's fairer to tell you that than to invent a biography.
Articles are produced with AI-assisted research and drafting, then checked against the standards in our editorial policy. Harriet sets the topics and those standards and is responsible for what we publish. We don't claim credentials we don't have, and we don't use photos of people pretending to be our staff.
